Rumour: Resident Evil Zero HD Remaster in Development?

Resident Evil Zero HD

With the Resident Evil HD Remaster coming in 2015, Capcom may have let slip another HD remaster in the works. That game is Resident Evil Zero.

The rumour stems from a picture provided by Capcom today. The picture in question is that of one of the PS4 themes you receive when you pre order Resident Evil Remaster HD or Biohazard as it is known in Japan. If you look closely, you can see what seems to be a Biohazard Zero icon on the PS4 game menu. Now while this isn’t confirmation of a Zero HD remaster, it could definitely be an indication that the next Resident Evil game to get the HD treatment will be Zero.

Resident Evil Zero originally came out for the Nintendo Gamecube in 2002, the game also had a Wii port released in 2009. The game is a prequel to the original Resident Evil game, in which you play as two characters, police officer Rebecca Chambers and ex-soldier Billy Coen. Resident Evil Zero’s unique feature is that both characters travel together at all times with the player being able to switch between who they control.
