Capcom has announced a release date for the HD remaster of the GameCube remake of Resident Evil.
Resident Evil HD Remaster will be released digitally on January 20th and will be priced at $19.99.
Originally released on the Nintendo GameCube back in 2002, Resident Evil HD Remaster has been updated with HD visuals and enhanced sound, along with a few other additions including new costumes for Chris and Jill.
The remaster also features new analog controls, as well as a widescreen mode to fit the game into modern TVs. Also featured in the title are select sections in the environment that have been re-tooled to utilize the power of current hardware.
Those looking to once again re-enter the Spencer Mansion in glorious HD can do so January 20th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Xbox 360, and PC. A Japanese version of the game is currently available and features English language options.
