Rumor: Batman Arkham Knight Possibly Delayed To 2015

by GH Staff

A lot of people are going to be disappointed if this is true. At a DC All Access panel during Wondercon, a trailer for Batman Arkham Knight was shown, however it displayed a date of 2015, not the originally planned date of October 2014. The information comes not from Rocksteady but from DC Comics, meaning we might have to at least consider this to be possible. Batman Arkham Knight was initially leaked and then announced officially not long after, planned for a October 14 release on Xbox One, PS4 and PC.

Rocksteady has made absolutely no indication that the game would be delayed and all seemed to be going smoothly. Information on the Arkham Knight himself was unveiled; a character created specifically for the new game, created in co-ordination with DC Comics. Rocksteady also revealed new screens of Batman, the game’s villains and the Batmobile, which will be usable for the first time. It’s a worrying trend that more anticipated games are being delayed, such as with The Division and The Witcher 3, however in the case of Watch Dogs it can be a good thing. How do you feel about this delay? Were you excited for Arkham Knight releasing this year?
