The game is immensely satisfying to play, even in its simplicity. And don’t take my word for it! Metacritic reviewers gave it an 88/100, while the users gave it an 86/100. PC Gamer rated it 88/100 as well, while IGN gave it a 9.1. That’s not too bad at all for a game that came from a modest and low-budget developer team, mainly Runic.
Should you decide to give it a go, make sure to download the Synergies mod from the Steam Workshop as well, since you’ll be getting access to a greater experience, with more classes, skills, maps, loot and obviously, monsters to clobber into bits and pieces.
