Titanfall beta information revealed, Xbox 360 version developed by Bluepoint

by GH Staff

Vince Zameplla, co-founder of Respawn Entertainment has announced that a beta phase for Titanfall is coming to the PC and Xbox One. This means that fans of the game will get to test the anticipated multiplayer game soon enough. Based on speculation, this beta will begin somewhere in the middle of Febraury, and will most likely span from the 14th to the 19th. The Titanfall developer has not revealed the official beta launch date, but promised that information on the subject will be coming shortly.

There’s no indication that a beta stage will take place for the Xbox 360 though. The fact that Mr. Zampella completely neglected to mention the past-gen Microsoft concern could lead us to believe that there will be no Titanfall beta for Xbox 360 users. We do know that Bluepoint is the studio behind the Xbox 360 version of Titanfall though. Respawn officially declared that there will be no cross-platform support for their game.

Bluepoint is a studio that has a proven track-record of porting games or remastering older Playstation 2 and 3 titles, so we are not worried about the quality of the Xbox 360 version. In fact, the studio is linked to important Playstation 3 titles, such as the God of War Collection or the Metal Gear Solid HD Collection.

Are you hyped about the opportunity to test Titanfall yourself? What are your most pressing concerns about the game? Players have been expressing their disbelief about the 6vs6 multiplayer mode.
