It’s that time of the year again! It seems Sony is not sitting idly by while counting revenues from Playstation 4 sales. The team from Sony is launching an event for the Christmas season, bringing great deals for Playstation 3 and PS Vita users. Starting from the 1st of December and ending on the 25th, the event is aimed to capitalize on the Christmas shopping spree. Which is not entirely bad for us, the users, as we’ll be getting up to 65% off discounts on some of the major Playstation 3 hits of 2013.
Sony will release individual discounts for one PS 3 and one PS Vita product every 48 hours, which means you can get your hands on 24 games at a reduced price during this period. Sounds good, doesn’t it?
The first game to receive a price trim in Sony’s 12 Deals of Christmas event is FIFA 14, which will be available for £24.99 until Tuesday, the 3rd of December, instead of the regular price of £44.99. Tom Cruise’s Oblivion also received a shave, and can be picked up for £0.99. Of course, more deals will follow, so keep a close eye on the Playstation store.
