Back in December 13, 2013 a Poland programming team “The Farm 51” have announced a next-gen and PC first person shooter during a Warsaw conference. What is interesting about this game is that its brand new engine focuses on delivering photo-realistic graphics. Based on actual 3D scans of real locations and characters ‘Get Even’ does truly resemble the idea of a next-gen game.
Another interesting and innovative feature the team will be integrating into Get Even’s gameplay is a combined single and multiplayer experience. Even though, it is yet unknown how exactly this will be achieved, it is rumored that players will be able to enter another player’s single player campaign as the opponent at any given time.
The head of ‘The Farm 51’, Wojtek Pazdur stated that the studio does not seek confrontation with the ‘giants of the FPS market.’ He said that the team wants to focus on something fresh and innovative, rather than going for the well known FPS game model.
Yesterday a new game trailer was released announcing that the game will be available for the Xbox One, PS4 and the PC in 2015. Even though the trailer is a mixture of generated parts combined with live action, it does look stunning and just goes to show that the border between game and photo realism may be erased.
What do you think about Get Even? Doesn’t it look stunning?
