The Independent Games Festival is becoming a quite prestigious event for Indie Game developers. Topping last year’s record of 589 entries for their Main Competition the IGF 2014 had 656 official contestants. The jury is ready with the initial voting and thus finalists were revealed.
Among them are games that made it to the top lists of many gaming networks as a GOTY award nominees – The Stanley Parable, Simogo’s Device 5 and Papers, Please.

The Independent Games Festival (IGF) 2014 will be a part of the Game Developers Conference in San Francisco this year. The festival will be available from March 17 to March 21, the prizes themselves will be presented at March 19.
