To ensure the smooth launch of the game, the developers of Elder Scrolls Online have invited a ‘massive number of players worldwide’ for the upcoming beta test this weekend.

The team behind Elder Scrolls Online encourages players who are invited to the beta to continue to play regardless of the issues and bugs they might encounter and informed them that during the test they will be bringing the servers down in order to see the reaction of the system. The team also emphasized that with the help of the players they will be able to ‘uncover problems and solve them before launch.’

Elder Scrolls Online team also insured that they will be doing a multiple number of beta sessions before the official launch of the game, planned for April 4, 2014 on the PC and Mac. Everyone who wants to be a part of these beta sessions could sign up at the official ESO web site.

Even though fans of the Elder Scrolls series are waiting in anticipation for the MMORPG, a new debate on the financial aspect of the game has emerged, since the estimated development cost is around $200 million.

Do you believe that the game will be able to deliver the promised rich experience?
