Ubisoft has just released the highly anticipated tablet and mobile game, Assassin’s Creed: Pirates. The game is available for Android and iOS operating systems.
In the game, you will be playing as Alonzo Batilla, a young pirate captain. The game focuses on naval warfare and battles, inspired by Ubisoft’s recent hit, Assassin’s Creed IV: Black Flag. You will be acquiring and upgrading ships, destroying enemies, and well, as any pirate worth his salt, will be of course plundering the seas.
As far as graphics are concerned, the game looks surprisingly good for a mobile game. 3D graphics, dynamic weather, a polished interface and really good lighting effects combined to create a very pleasing visual experience.
The game includes more than 50 story and side missions, and tons of collectibles, such as treasures and parchments. The factions remain the same as in the AC universe, mainly assassin’s and templars, and the characters you will encounter include famous names such as Blackbeard or Sam Bellamy. The game is available in English (duh!), and localized versions are also available in French, Italian, German, Spanish, Brazilian Portuguese, Chinese, Korean, Japanese and Russian.
Google Playstore reviews from users are overall positive, the game currently sitting on a 4.5 star rating. So, if you’re looking for a new game to play on your mobile device, head on to the Apple store or Google Playstore and grab it while it’s hot.
