Pokemon Sun and Moon Release Date and New Trailer Revealed

Nintendo has revealed the release date and a new trailer for the upcoming games Pokemon Sun and Moon.

The trailer (posted below) showcases some of the environments players will be able to explore, as well as revealing the new starter Pokemon and the games’ release date. Pokemon Sun and Moon will be released on November 18th for all Nintendo 3DS systems.

As depicted in the trailer, the new starter Pokemon will be Rowlet (a grass type Pokemon), Litten (a fire type), and Popplio (a water type).

Announced earlier this year, Pokemon Sun and Moon are intended to be released this year to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Pokemon series.

The games will be compatible with Pokemon bank, with Nintendo promising that Pokemon caught in the X and Y series, Omega Ruby and Alpha Sapphire series, and the virtual console versions of Pokemon Red, Blue, and Yellow will be transferrable to Sun and Moon.

As mentioned earlier, Pokemon Sun and Moon will both be released on November 18th for Nintendo 3DS systems.
