Microsoft has Released a new Gears of War 4 Trailer

Microsoft has released a new short trailer for the upcoming Gears of War 4 that is titled “Tomorrow”.

The new trailer (posted below) showcases Marcus Fenix, with his family, living peacefully, while also flash forwarding to show his grown up son fighting an enemy.

On the official Xbox news blog, Microsoft stated the following on the new short trailer:

At the conclusion of Gears of War 3, Marcus Fenix wondered what tomorrow would bring. What a world without war would look like. This is the story of two tomorrows – the one Marcus envisioned, and the one 25 years later, where all hope is shattered as a new nightmare is reborn.

“Tomorrow” features Disturbed’s haunting cover of Simon and Garfunkel’s “The Sound of Silence,” and offers a hint of how Gears of War 4 brings the franchise back to the dark, mysterious and intense tone of the original classic.

Gears of War 4 will be released exclusively for Xbox One on October 11th, with the early access beta, for owners of Gears of War Ultimate Edition, launching on April 18th.
