What are your thoughts on the stolen copies of Uncharted 4? Do you think Nintendo’s plans make sense for its future? Let us know in the comments!

I completely agree with the rant at the end. At this point I don’t think Nintendo know what they are doing. Not showing the NX at E3? Having only one playable game at the showfloor that is not even releasing this year? What are Wii U owners going to look forward to in the next 7 months?

As both Chris and Adnan correctly pointed out consumers have become smarter and policy wins the audience. Had it not been for the Sony’s E3 2013 conference the PS4 wouldn’t be as successful as it currently is. Given the failure of Wii U to break any ground in large part due to extremely poor marketing, Nintendo would have to promote the hell out of the NX. Show a multitude of third/second parties working on the system. Tell us if it is region locked. Advertise a possible new unified Nintendo online account with implemented achievements. Show a normal controller and a non exotic architecture with a decent hard drive that can contain modern games.

The above are things modern gamers expect from their console. The “We have Zelda” argument doesn’t work any more. I myself am a PlayStation guy, but I want Nintendo to be successful since competition breeds excellence, but it seems like they are utterly confused.

So well said, man. The times are changing, and Nintendo needs to wake up and evolve if they’re to survive.
