Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro Review The Snapdragon 650 Strikes Back

Recent reviews show that the new improved Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro is shaping up to be the new budget mobile king when it comes to phones. The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro has an upgraded Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 chipset clocked at 1.4Ghz, 2GB or 3G of Ram. MicroSD card support (Something Redmi Note 3 lacked) and a new Samsung ISOCell 16MP sensor capable of even recording 4k videos. Testing shows that the Snapdragon 650 is capable of scoring a good 30,000 points more than the old MediaTek Helios X10 chipset in the Redmi Note 3, coming in with an amazing 78,000 points. Other noteworthy benchmarks include a Geekbench 3 single score of 1500+. Not only things the LTE capable phone can also keep on working over 8 hours of on screen time thanks to it’s large 4,000 mAh battery.

In a recent Redmi Note 3 Pro review on YouTube the reviewer commented that the $200 mobile is a “Flagship killer” and the new camera sensor was a step up in terms of daylight performance but still offering disappointing shots in low light conditions.

Other features of the Redmi Note 3 Pro include a 403 PPI 1080p bright display, FM Radio. Dual 4G Sim support or Micro SIM + MicroSD card support. 16GB or 32GB of fast eMMC storage (Up to 150 MB/s reads and 50 MB/s write rates) 5MP front-facing selfie camera and Qualcomm quick charge 2 support allowing you to fully charge the mobile in 2 hours.

The Xiaomi Redmi Note 3 Pro is currently selling for around $215, but expect to drop to under $200 once more retailers stock it.
