Super Star Wars to be Re-Released on PlayStation 4 & Vita
Sony has recently announced that Super Star Wars will be re-released on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita later this week.
A post on the PlayStation Blog has detailed some information on the upcoming re-release of the SNES classic platformer. The title will be re-released this Tuesday, and will be cross buy across PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. Super Star Wars is being “enhanced” for its re-release and will add “new save features, leaderboards, trophies, and updated display and controller options.”
Originally released back in 1992 for the SNES, Super Star Wars is a re-telling of Star Wars Episode IV: A New Hope in the form of a platforming adventure game that takes players from the desert planet of Tatooine to the interiors of the dreaded Death Star. The game has a notorious reputation for being a tough as nails title that puts gamers’ skills to their limits.
As mentioned earlier, Super Star Wars will be re-released this Tuesday as a cross buy title for PlayStation 4 and PlayStation Vita. At the time of this writing, no price details have been announced.
