Pokémon GO Announced For Android & iOS

The Pokémon Company announced Pokémon GO – the first ever mobile Pokémon game – for both Android and iOS.

The game is expected to launch somewhere in 2016 through the App Store and Google Play. Pokémon GO has players catching Pokémon in the real world, using them to trade with and fight against other players.

Pokémon GO will feature augmented reality tech developed by Niantic, the team behind another mobile augmented reality title called Ingress. This means that Pokémon can actually be found wandering the real world, encouraging you to explore the world around you if you really wish to catch ’em all.

Players can also purchase a Pokémon GO Plus bracelet that allows them to get notified when something happens in the game. The bracelet will start vibrating, allowing you to quickly catch Pokémon with a simple press of the button.

As mentioned before, Pokémon GO is expected to hit mobile devices somewhere in 2016.

Are you excited to catch Pokémon on your mobile device? Let us know in the comment section down below!

Bloody hell, this looks cool. Hopefully it works pretty well, can see it being an absolute glitch fest

So how much longer before I can get a real pokemon?
