Mass Effect 4 And Mirror’s Edge 2’s Release Date Announced

“EA’s strong presence on the next-gen consoles positions the company to thrive in coming years.”

This was told Michael Pachter, an analyst in the gaming world, that, in a report posted on Wedbush, has said that both Mass Effect 4, and Mirror’s Edge 2, are due to be released before March 2016.

“FY:16 is expected to feature incremental releases Mass Effect 4, Mirror’s Edge 2, a new Need For Speed game, and Star Wars: Battlefront, as well as meaningful re-orders for Battlefield Hardline, which launched in late Q4:15.”

FY: 16 for EA started at the beginning of this month, and should run until the end of March in 2016. Reports say that both of the games previously referenced shouldn’t release in this time, but we’ll still have Star Wars: Battlefront and the new Need for Speed to entertain us in the meanwhile.

Battlefront is due to have a gameplay trailer shown at the Star Wars Celebration, where new features will be revealed.

Mirror’s Edge’s reboot was announced at the 2013’s E3, and not much regarding the plot was revealed, but we do know that it will feature the same protagonist, Faith, and rumours say that it might be open-world themed.

Mass Effect 4, in the other hand, has shown nothing about its premise or gameplay whatsoever, meaning that the game is a total mystery so far.

    If the release dates have been “announced” then what are they? The real news is that there’s a projected deadline for their release, not that they’ve been given release dates. Be careful with what you publish, guys.

    “before March 2016” is a release window, not a release date, and even that is a stretch considering how vague it is.
