Puzzle Game Ironcast Coming to Consoles

Puzzle game Ironcast just released on Steam a few days ago, but console users don’t need to feel left out, as it has been announced that the game will be coming to consoles later this year. The announcement was made on the PlayStationBlog.

Steampunk is a puzzle game in which you take control of a vehicle called Ironcast. You must match three of the same colour to collect nodes. The game also has a roguelite element, with character leveling, weapon upgrades and randomised loot.

An official gameplay trailer has been released for Ironcast, you can check it out for more information on the game.

‘Battles are fought by generating resource nodes which in turn drive the Ironcast’s various weapons and systems. Players must choose how to spend these nodes wisely, either offensively in order to cripple and destroy their opponents, or defensively, if they suspect a barrage of incoming weapons fire is due.’

The mixture of puzzle elements and roguelite elements could make for an interesting game. If you can’t wait for the console release, the game is available right now on Steam.
