Capcom Releases New Resident Evil: Revelations 2 Trailer

A week before it’s release, Capcom has released a new trailer for Resident Evil: Revelations 2 that reveals some aspects of the title’s storyline.

The trailer (posted below) focuses more on the game’s story rather than the gameplay, and gives viewers an overview of all four episodes to be released during the title’s game season.

Set in-between Resident Evil 5 and 6, Resident Evil: Revelations 2 has players take on the role of series veterans Claire Redfield and Barry Burton, while also introducing a new character to the series Moira Burton.

For the first time ever in the survival horror series, the game will be spread across four episodes and will be eventually collected as a full season for retail.

The first episode, titled, Penal Colony, will be released in the US for PlayStation 3 and 4 on February 24th, with the UK and Japanese versions releasing the following day. The Xbox One and 360 versions of the episode will be released on February 25th worldwide.

Subsequent episodes will be released once per week until the season is complete, which will then be collected as a retail package containing all of the episodes. The retail package will be released for various consoles and territories on March 18th and 20th.
