The WWE Network will be officially heading to the United Kingdom and Ireland on January 19th, 2015, WWE chairman and CEO Vince McMahon has revealed.

WWE Network, an online-based subscription service that launched in the U.S. last year, was originally planned to launch in the UK on October 1st, 2014, but the date was pushed back and McMahon apologised for the delay in his video message.

“This time we really mean it [referring to the release of WWE Network],” McMahon said. “You’ve been waiting a long time for the WWE Network and we thank you for your patience.”

The subscription service costs £9.99 per month and allows people to access more than “2000 hours” of WWE content, 24/7 streaming and every WWE pay-per-view event.

The launch of the WWE Network on January 19th means that fans will be able to stream the first pay-per-view event of 2015, the Royal Rumble, on January 25th straight from their PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360 and Xbox One.

Yesterday, WWE Immortals, an upcoming free-to-play mobile title developed by NetherRealm Studios and Phosphor Game Studios, received an official release date and four new images of wrestlers — Big Show, Sheamus and The Bella Twins — that have been announced for the game’s roster.
