After ending a 281-week long DLC run almost 2 years ago, Harmonix have announced, in a press release, that Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz will be getting some new songs added to their library.
3 songs will be released for the once-popular musical rhythm games, ”Something From Nothing” by Foo Fighters, ”R U Mine?” by Arctic Monkeys and ”Shepherd of Fire” by Avenged Sevenfold. Each song will cost £1/$2/€1.50 and will be available through the Rock Band Store. All three songs will be playable through Rock Band 3 and Rock Band Blitz, the mobile entry in the series.
No word as of yet if Harmonix plan to start up their successful DLC run, and a date for these new songs has yet to be set.
Ever since the game series launched, Harmonix had released packs of songs each week, until announcing plans to stop back in April 2013. The last release of the series was the well-received Rock Band 3 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
