Europe Receives New 3DS Ambassador Bundle for Club Nintendo

by GH Staff

Nintendo has revealed the New 3DS Ambassador Bundle that is currently available exclusively for European Club Nintendo members.

The New 3DS Ambassador Bundle comes with a white New 3DS, a 4GB Micro SD card, AR cards, a charging cradle, a Super Smash Bros. themed cover plate, and an Ambassador Edition themed cover plate.

The entire bundle is priced at £180/€200 and will ship now with a delivery estimate of 3-5 days.

This news marks the first time the New 3DS has been made available outside of Japan and Australia. Previously, Nintendo has promised that the New 3DS would be released in Europe and North America at some point in 2015.

It should be noted, however, that this release is only available to a select few European Club Nintendo members who received emails with this offer, and is not intended to be a full launch for the European territories. Those European Club Nintendo members wanting to see if they are eligible can go to this website to check.

The New 3DS is Nintendo’s newest iteration of the Nintendo 3DS and features a new C-Stick, additional shoulder buttons, an enhanced CPU, and other refinements. Nintendo had also confirmed that the New 3DS model will have exclusive titles available for it, with the first exclusive title being a port of the Wii title Xenoblade Chronicles.

The New 3DS Ambassador Bundle is currently available for select Club Nintendo members in Europe, and is available to the general public in Japan and Australia. North America and non-Club Nintendo members in Europe have yet to be given a definitive release date.
