Video compares Engine Graphics in Titanic Honor and Glory

by GH Staff

Recently, Four Funnels Entertainment has successfully received greenlight at Steam since October 22, started building the city models of Southampton on November 10, and improved Titanic: Honor and Glory’s graphics with Unreal Engine 4. To showoff these small to gigantic enhancements made with the new engine, the indie game developer has uploaded a short comparison video.

Folks can see little to drastic distinctions in certain locations, though some scenes maybe too blurry or quick to distinguish any changes. Apart from that unfortunate point, folks can see better lighting and shadows in the Unreal Engine 4. Even now, their work remains in-progress as none of the rooms or decks shown in this video are finished. As such, this ambitious team is continuing to improve the setting to remain accurate as the complete digital simulation of the 1912 Titanic.

Aside from the ship, Southampton, is also being recreated in as full authenticity like it was in 1912. Because the developing team is filled with history fanatics, they also like to share some interesting facts. Such as, Southampton was the city the RMS Titanic sailed from on April 10th and was home to the majority of Titanic’s crew. Approximately 540 crew from Southampton died in the sinking. As a quick reminder, the city will be highly explorable and interactive, with many of the famous sites of historical significance being featured.
