Invert Mouse, an independent game developer and story-driven lover, has launched a crowd-funding campaign for Without Within; this visual novel game focuses on a young calligraphy-talented girl named Vinty who has lost her confidence over time. To see her creativity come to life, personal computers can actually checkout her story on the PC, Mac, and Linux for free and right now!
Even though this campaign is still on-going until January 20, 2015, folks can actually download a digital version from the official website. The creator has offered this version because she is running this campaign for two reasons. One, she wants to offer physical rewards for those who enjoyed and appreciated her project. Two, she wished to develop an upgraded edition of the game that players may purchase. This package, named the Extra Edition, will include:
- Printable “chase” cards with inspirational messages.
- The soundtrack.
- A digital artbook.
