Inside Games Arcade, an exhibition of UK-based gaming convention EGX Rezzed, has now opened up its application process for submitting titles, the British Academy of Film and Television Arts (BAFTA) has announced.

Running from March 12th to March 14th, 2015, leading British AAA studios and indie developers have their upcoming content showcased during the exhibition, as the BAFTA’s Games Committee curates the event for the public.

“The selection of games that BAFTA will showcase at Inside Games Arcade will celebrate the finest talent that the UK games industry has to offer,” says Kelly Smith, head of television and games at BAFTA.

“We’re looking to feature a broad spectrum of games that will appeal to a variety of attendees, so regardless of the platform, genre or background of the game’s developers, everything will be considered.”

Last year’s BAFTA Games Awards was hosted by well-known comedian Dara Ó Briain in London and developer Rockstar Games were presented with BAFTA’s Fellowship Award by Metal Gear Solid creator and director Hideo Kojima.

Following a partnership announced between EGX Rezzed and BAFTA earlier this year, the BAFTA Games Awards and the gaming convention will coincide with one another in 2015 (March 12th-14th).
