The PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of 2K Sports and Visual Concepts/Yuke’s popular wrestling simulation game, WWE 2K15, released this past Tuesday, November 18th (with the game coming out in EU territories tomorrow – November 21st), to mild critical reception, with both versions of the highly anticipated game averaging somewhere in the 60s on Metacritic.
The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 iterations of WWE 2K15 released late last month to an even worse reception, sitting uncomfortably in the 50s on Metacritic.
Regardless, 2K Sports and Visual Concepts/Yuke’s WWE 2K15 can take credit for one of the more unusual “special edition” bonuses for a video game in recent memory (probably somewhere behind Dead Island: Riptide‘s ridiculous dismembered female torso package).
On the 2K Store, it appears that gamers privy to re-enacting the often ridiculous antics of real-life professional wrestling can purchase a “Metal Folding Chair Pack” edition of the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One versions of WWE 2K15, which comes with, surprise, an actual metal folding chair.
