Thanksgiving, Black Friday, and Christmas – all within the next 2 months. The holiday shopping craze is set to begin soon, and thrifty gamers know that Thanksgiving brings with it the largest sales event of the year – Black Friday.

While there will be a considerable number of various gaming-related offers, discounted games, consoles, bundles, et cetera, it appears that Sony is preparing a particularly noteworthy PS4 bundle for this year’s Black Friday sales event.

Infoscout, a sales tracker, has revealed that the PS4 lost out to the Xbox One during last year’s Black Friday, due to Microsoft having a variety of enticing console and game offerings. With Sony’s speculated preparation of a “massive” PS4 Black Friday bundle, it seems that the company doesn’t want a repeat of last year.

According to PS4Daily.com, one of their retail sources (who apparently leaked last year’s Killzone: Shadow Fall PS4 bundle accurately), relayed information that Sony has sent out notices to retailers in regards to a new bundle that is expected to be sold on Black Friday – stating the “massive PS4 bundle” will include the standard console (500 GB) and 3 1st-party video games at a “very competitive” retail price.

Recently, Sony revealed a European “Triple Pack” PS4 bundle (seen above), which included 3 games – Infamous: Second Son, Killzone: Shadow Fall, and Knack. However, the “Triple Pack” was limited to Germany and few select retailers. Furthermore, it retailed for around 500 Euros, which is about $620 dollars.

Gamers have concocted a number of possible combinations for the 3 games to be included with Sony’s Black Friday Bundle, such as a bundle containing The Last of Us: Remastered, DriveClub, and LittleBigPlanet 3.

However, a more realistic idea would be the aforementioned games included in the European “Triple Pack” at an MSRP of $399.

Earlier this year, it was revealed that Sony was preparing a 1TB PS4 for Holiday 2014, however, it is unknown whether or not the 1TB console will be included in a bundle or sold as a separate console.

What are your thoughts on a “massive” Black Friday PlayStation 4 bundle? What 3 games would you like to see included with it? Also, if you don’t have a PlayStation 4, but want one – will a slick Black Friday bundle push you over the edge into buying one?
