Neil Druckmann, creative director on the critically acclaimed The Last of Us, has tweeted about something that he has specifically had the opportunity to check out before it will be shown at the upcoming Game Awards 2014.
Obviously, Druckmann didn’t reveal what he exactly saw on Twitter but he did say that it was something that made him “very excited.”
The Last of Us’ creative director is currently spearheading the final installment in the Uncharted franchise, Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End, alongside his co-director Bruce Straley. Maybe his tweet is hinting at the possibility of news coming from developer Naughty Dog on A Thief’s End or something completely new? Whatever it is, he’s certainly caught everyone’s attention with his tweet (including us!).
Saw a sneak peek of something that's happening at @thegameawards that has me very excited. Can't wait. See you on Friday, Vegas.

The Game Awards 2014 was officially announced as the replacement to Spike TV’s VGAs earlier this month, with a 30-second promo for the event suggesting that Rocksteady Studios’ Batman: Arkham Knight may be making an appearance.
The Game Awards 2014 are set to take place on December 5th in Las Vegas (9PM ET), and it’s already been confirmed that Hideo Kojima, Metal Gear Solid creator and director, will be present at the event with the world premiere of Metal Gear Online.
Uncharted 4: A Thief’s End is scheduled for release in 2015 exclusively for PlayStation 4.
