Get a Free Demo for Momentum at KickStater

by GH Staff

Ever wanted to test gravity or balance a ball in a virtual dimension above a city? Projectile Entertainment has launched a crowd-funding campaign for Momentum; this physics based 3D platformer tests personal computer users and their capabilities to manipulate a labyrinth course in midair while skillfully maneuvering a ball. As players advance through 100 levels across three worlds (each featuring its own tracks and gameplay mechanics), they will also race against the clock. Here’s the official trailer:

With a smoothing soundtrack and stunning visual backgrounds, the simple objective and task appears quite easy through the video demonstration. However, one small slip or an over-the-top mistake will utterly destroy the small ball; and then, the tiny destruction will cause the player to restart the level. Because watching someone else demonstrate this or even talking about it won’t convince some audiences, Kelly Harper and Isaac Harper (head members of Projectile Entertainment) are offering a free demo for interested spectators.

To play the demo, simply download a digital copy from this page.

Once folks have checked out their experimental masterpiece, they can determine the success of this nifty project by contributing some funds at KickStarter or provide enough amount (like $10 US dollars) to score a digital copy. With 17 days left, they will need $11,115 for their initial goal of $11,500. Why this large sum?

“Basic expenses such as software licenses, hardware, and certification costs can be steep for a small indie studio like ours.”

-Projectile Entertainment

Basically, the raised funds will help with marketing their video game and prepare it before the big launch date. For more information, please visit the official website. To support this innovative project, please visit the KickStarter page
