Activision’s twin-stick shooter Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will be available tomorrow in North America and a day later for Europeans. The previous Geometry Wars titles have been nothing short of spectacular; this is due to the fast and fluid gameplay in addition to amazing graphics, with this in mind the expectations for Geometry Wars 3 are extremely high. In total there are 30 achievements up for grabs, totalling 1000 points, both the Xbox One and Xbox 360 will feature the same list. Since there more than 25 achievements, it should be expected that the game will have a platinum trophy on the PS3 and PS4. The vast majority of the achievements come from the game’s Adventure mode. At least 6 of the achievements can only be unlocked through the adventure mode, it is worth noting that one achievement is still hidden so we have no idea how to unlock it. Geometry Wars 3 will also have a few co-op achievements; ‘Best Friends’ and ‘BFF’ can only be unlocked if you are playing with a buddy. The co-op achievements can only be unlocked through local play.
If you are interested in picking up Geometry Wars 3 at some point in the future then it might be worth pre-ordering the title, this is because pre-ordering on Xbox One will grant you access to an exclusive level called “Blood Count”, a level which features a “unique Torus shaped grid.” Pre-ordering will also grant access to the “Titan Box” level, which features “Titans on a cube shaped grid and Xbox green background.”
Geometry Wars 3: Dimensions will be available on November 26th for the Xbox One and Xbox 360. Playstation fans will be able to purchase the title a day earlier on November 25th; on all four platforms the latest iteration of Geometry Wars will cost US$14.99 / £13.99 / €14.99 / AU$19.95.
