This Week on the Nintendo eShop (Week of 10/30/2014)

Nintendo has revealed the list of new downloadable titles and sales on its North American 3DS and Wii U eShops for the week of October 30, 2014.  This week’s line-up doesn’t feature a lot of big games, but titles like Woah Dave! and Stealth Inc 2 will definitely hold your attention. Here’s the list of the digital content highlights releasing on Nintendo’s digital distribution platform within the next seven days.


 On the 3DS eShop:

  • Woah Dave! ($4.99)

As a Dave, your goal is to slaughter as many aliens and steal as much change as you can to rank to the top of the leaderboards. However, everything on the map can kill you, even you own ammo, so you’ll need to be extra careful to be the best Dave out there.

 

  • Zombie Panic in Wonderland DX ($6.00)

The Deluxe Version of Zombie Panic in Wonderland arrives on the 3DS with new amazing graphics, extra stages and an extended story, exclusive enemies, and additional control schemes adapted to Nintendo’s handheld. As Momotaro, you’ll go through popular fairy tales and encounter some of the weirdest zombies you’ll ever see.


On the Wii U eShop:

  • Stealth Inc 2: A Game of Clones ($14.99)

Curve Studios is bringing the sequel to the popular Stealth Inc game to the Wii U exclusively. With over 60 varied levels linked together in a sprawling underworld, be ready to explore a very hostile environment as you try to escape a high-tech testing facility.

 

  • Color Zen (Free Demo)

If you are still on the fence of purchasing Color Zen, well you can test out its color-based puzzles for free by downloading the free demo available on the Wii U eShop.

 

  • Costume Quest 2 ($14.99)

Celebrate Halloween by taking on an enchanting RPG adventure set during October 31. Being the sequel to Double Fine’s original Costume Quest, there are a slew of new features that will allow you to save Halloween forever.

 

  • Cosmophony ($3.99)

Cosmophony is a musical shooter featuring a drum and bass soundtrack. Keep in mind that this game has a steep learning curve, and it will take some time before you can successfully enjoy the experience that has some impressive HD visuals and psychedelic backgrounds.

 

  • Falling Skies: The Video Game

Based on the popular TNT sci-fi series of the same name, Falling Skies: The Video Game is a tactical Strategy game set after the events of the show’s Season 3. You’ll need to fight alongside the human resistance to help defeat the alien invasion.

 

  • Pixel Paint ($3.99)

Pixel Paint allows you to create your very own Pixel Art inspired by the retro era of video games. It has all the necessary tools you need to make your own creation and share it to the world via Miiverse.

 

  • Rock Zombie ($6.99)

Choosing from Zoe, Sasha and Crystal, you must use the power of Rock music to defeat hordes of zombies in 20 action-packed levels. Fans of games from the arcade Golden Age are sure to be pleased with Rock Zombie’s design as it is heavily inspired by it.

 

  • Tetrobot & Co. ($9.99)

Tetrobot and Co. is a pure puzzle game involving block movement and environmental analysis. The title is now hitting the Wii U eShop, meaning you’ll be able to help Maya guide Psychobot through Tetrobot’s cogs and circuits to repair it.


 On the 3DS Virtual Console:

  • Gargoyle’s Quest II: The Demon Darkness ($4.99)

Re-experience this classic NES side-scrolling experience as Firebrand, who must figure out what destroyed his home. As he’ll wander off on this perilous journey, he will need to meet up with fellow ghouls to upgrade his overall strength in order to defeat the cunning opponents coming his way. Additionally, Gargoyle’s Quest II is also available on the Wii U Virtual Console.


 On the Wii U Virtual Console:

  • Demon’s Crest ($7.99)

Demon’s Crest is the SNES sequel for Gargoyle’s Quest as it stars Firebrand who must recover the six stones of the demon crest before mankind falls into the hands of Phalanx, his arch nemesis.

 

  • Kirby: Nightmare in Dream Land ($7.99)

King Dedede has stolen the Star Rod, and it’s up to Kirby to save Dream Land and restore the source of the Fountain of Dreams. He’ll have to transform in some of the most ridiculous shapes in order to successfully save Dream Land.


 eShop sales:

  • Blok Drop U (Wii U)

This title is more 50 percent off on the Wii U eShop until November 27, making it $0.99 instead of $1.99.

  • Cloudy With A Chance of Meatballs 2, Hotel Transylvania & Legend of Oz: Dorothy’s Return (3DS)

Starting October 31, these titles will be reduced to $4.99 instead of $9.99 on the 3DS eShop.

  • Disney Frozen Olaf’s Quest (3DS)

This game will be more than 30 percent off from October 31 until November 17 on the 3DS eShop, making it $19.99 instead of $29.99.

  • Quell Reflect (3DS)

This title is now 25 percent off until November 6 on the 3DS eShop, making it $2.79 instead of $3.99.

  • Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D (3DS)

This title is now more 50 percent off until November 4 on the 3DS eShop.

  • Resident Evil: Revelations (3DS & Wii U)

Both the 3DS and Wii U versions of Resident Evil: Revelations are more than 50 percent off on the eShops until November 4.


And finally, older games making their way to the eShop:

  • SpongeBob SquarePants: Plankton’s Robotic Revenge (3DS & Wii U)
  • Transformers: Rise of the Dark Spark (3DS & Wii U)
  • Wipeout Create & Crash (3DS & Wii U)
