Warlock Revealed as Final Remade Map in Halo 2: Anniversary

by GH Staff

As part of IGN’s monthly coverage of Halo: The Master Chief Collection, 343 Industries has revealed the last of the six remade Halo 2 multiplayer maps that will be included within Halo 2: Anniversary. Formerly known as Warlock, Warlord has been redesigned for the custom Xbox One engine and will now join Zenith, Bloodline, Shrine and Stonetown, which were originally known as Ascension, Coagulation, Sanctuary and Zanzibar respectively.

Halo-2-WarlockWarlock was already a remake of a Halo 1 map in Halo 2, but it remains one of the most beloved maps by the Halo 2 competitive scene as it can be used for, practically, any game type because of its symmetrical design.

While you wait for Halo: The Master Chief Collection to hit the Xbox One on November 11, you can watch a gameplay video running at 1080p and 60 frames per second on the remade map right here.
