SEGA has recently made a big announcement, the original Valkyria Chronicles is heading to the PC!
On Twitter, Sega simply posted a in-game image and the following quote:
“Gallia, to arms! Return to the original battle on PC. More info coming soon.”
Valkyria Chronicles was original released on the PS3 back on November 4, 2008. The game has a current MetaCritic MetaScore of an 86. “As the heroic commander Welkin, lead your small platoon to defend your country against the empires invading forces. Turn-Based tactics meshed with action-packed real-time shooting.” SEGA has not announced an official date or official price for Valkyria Chronicles for the PC.

My Take: I have fond memories of playing VC back on the PS3 when it was first released. Beautiful art work, amazing characters, outstanding voice work, powerful story and addicting game-play. I’m glad PC fans get to enjoy this masterpiece, and hopefully it means a future localization of VC III.
