by GH Staff

Thanks to IGN and their IGN first promotion, we have even more news about Halo: The Master Chief Collection. We have summarized last week’s news here, and you can take a look at the news from this week here and here. Today, we got a taste of how Halo 2, in it’s original form, will look with it’s 1080p and 60 fps upgrade.

The video, from IGN, can be seen right here.

In the video, we see both Halo 2 Anniversary and Halo 2 Classic. It starts us off by showing Halo 2 Anniversary Campaign, showcasing the Plasma Rifle, Dual SMGs, Needler, Fuel Rod Cannon, Scorpion Tank, and some marvelous Explosions. We then move on to Halo 2 Anniversary Multiplayer, which showed off snippets from multiple maps and matches, as well as the Sentinel Beam, the brand new Gungoose, and even the Hornet! Then, the last portion shows off Halo 2 Classic Multiplayer, which looks to run much smoother at it’s new native 1080p resolution.

Be sure to check out the video for a full taste of Halo 2 at 1080p and 60 fps!
