With Ed Boon, creative director on Mortal Kombat X, recently tweeting a cryptic image featuring two individuals doing a motion capture scene for the eagerly awaited instalment (while hinting at the possibly of a new character being revealed), it seems that Boon, who is notorious for teasing fans of the franchise, has now suggested that Sheeva will be included in the roster for Mortal Kombat X.
A Twitter user, pokedexik, tweeted a message at Boon saying, “Day 376, still no reply from Ed Boon, must know if Sheeva is in the game.” Boon, on the other hand, surprised everyone by replying with “Yup, sounds like a reasonable assumption.”
"@pokedexik @noobde Day 376, Stil no reply from Ed boon, Must know if sheva is in the game EB: Yup, sounds like a reasonable assumption.

Boon’s comment is reminiscent to the tweet when he confirmed that Mortal Kombat X’s 24-character roster would be divided between 12 veteran combatants from the franchise and 12 new faces, with Ferra/Torr, Cassie Cage, Kotal Kahn, D’Vorah, Scorpion, Sub-Zero, Raiden, Kano and Quan Chi been announced over the course of the year.
Sheeva, the four-armed Shokan warrior who served as the bodyguard for former Emperor Shao Kahn, played a minor role in Mortal Kombat 9’s story, and with her fellow Shokan ally Goro confirmed as a pre-order bonus for the title, it wouldn’t be a surprise if she makes her return in Mortal Kombat X.
Running at 1080p and 60fps, Mortal Kombat X will launch on April 14th, 2015 for PlayStation 3, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC.
