Telltale Games has announced release dates for the boxed retail copies of the first and second seasons of it’s hit game series The Walking Dead.
Though already released as a retail package for PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, and Xbox 360, The Walking Dead season 1 will be available to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One owners on October 14th. Telltale has confirmed that the retail package will include all five episodes from the season, as well as the 400 Days DLC episode.
A week after following the release of season 1, The Walking Dead season 2 will be released for the first time as a retail package on October 21st for Xbox One, Xbox 360, PlayStation 4, and PlayStation 3. PlayStation Vita owners will have to wait until November 4th to pick up a copy of the retail package, which will include all five episodes from the second season.
Released back in 2012, The Walking Dead season 1 became a smash hit among gamers and eventually led to the recently finished second season of the series. For those who were waiting for a retail release, October seems to be the perfect month for The Walking Dead to debut on retail and is sure to provide gamers with a perfect backdrop for the zombie-filled title.
