New Resident Evil HD Remaster Trailer Released

by GH Staff

Despite the trailer (see below) being completely in Japanese, we are able to clearly see some features which should make playing Resident Evil HD Remaster that much more enjoyable. After the initial montage showcasing aspects of the HD makeover, which looks beautiful by the way, a demonstration of the ability to easily switch between the options of either 16:9 widescreen or full screen 4:3 display is shown. Also highlighted is an option to use the analogue controls, which many may find beneficial.

Some might find it difficult using what is known as ‘tank controls’, thus an analogue system should encourage more people to play the game at a smoother pace as it were. The Japanese voiceovers are now an option, too. And finally, Wesker’s Report I and Wesker’s Report II will be available to enjoy – these reports were originally released as mockumentaries acting as an insight into the backstories of other Resident Evil titles, making them a must-watch for any Resident Evil fan if you haven’t seen them already.

With no confirmed release date as of yet, Resident Evil HD Remaster is to be available in early 2015 for PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
