See how much Cassandra has changed from Dragon Age 2 with the Walking Tall with Miranda Raison video
After spending the entirety of Dragon Age 2 listening to Varric, its understandable to assume that the Seeker Cassandra is brash, impulsive and has anger problems. However in the recent Walking Tall with Miranda Raison video, her voice actor Miranda Raison reveals that Cassandra may just be one of the most interesting party members you’ll get.
In the video Miranda describes Cassandra as “not being a girly girl but being a girl whose honed a certain part of her“. Cassandra is definitely still a tough girl but you may be surprised to learn that she is a romantic girl inside, which I think kind of shows in her braided hair. It should at this time be noted that the male Inquisitor can romance Cassandra.
Due to the tragedy Cassandra faced as a child, she is a more vulnerable person than she likes people to think but because of this it also means that she is surprisingly very good at comforting other people during their lowest moments. This makes sense since Bioware have stated that they want to show her in a more human light. Cassandra opinion of Varric has also changed a bit since Dragon Age 2 as well. Back in the last game Cassandra hated him but while their still not the best of friends Cassandra now has a sort of grudging respect for him or at least “now gets more his coming from“.
In Dragon Age Inquisition Cassandra Pentaghast is going to be a party member and the Walking Tall with Miranda Raison video has revealed a more human side to the once impatient seeker, and if this video anything to go by she might end up being on of the best characters in the game.
