According to a banner on the front page of GOG.com, the digital distribution service will be revealing a new major publisher they’ve signed – whose games will subsequently be made available for sale on the site.

GOG.com to Reveal Newly Signed Major Publisher
Various team members on the site have implied that the newly signed major publisher is a high-profile one, with a considerable number of games on the official GOG wishlist.
Naturally, members of the website’s forums began to rumor and speculate on which publisher might have been signed. As expected, a tech-savvy GOG user did a bit of sleuthing and poking around the site, and found a number of images that will presumably appear at certain stages of the countdown.
The aforementioned images seem to be samples of fonts used by games by the to-be-revealed publisher.

Eagle-eyed gamers familiar will notice that the above fonts are used by the following franchises (respectively): Star Wars, Indiana Jones, and Monkey Island – all developed by LucasArts.
Seeing as though LucasArts was acquired by Disney in 2012, it seems that the publisher GOG is set to reveal may possibly be Disney. Earlier this month, A slew of Disney published video games were added to Steam, so its entirely possible that the very same may occur with GOG.com.

For those unfamiliar with the website, GOG.com (formerly known as Good Old Games) is a PC game and, since 28 August 2014, movies sale and distribution service. The service is operated by GOG Ltd, an owned subsidiary of CD Projekt (developer of the popular Witcher franchise), and is based in Warsaw, Poland.
GOG.com is known for offering “classic” video games through its DRM-free digital platform for Windows, Mac OS X and Linux. However, in early 2012, GOG began selling more popular, recent titles such as The Witcher 2, Alan Wake, Assassin’s Creed, et cetera.
