To show our appreciation for indie game developers, Gamer Headlines will be hosting an event for the entire month to showcase and recognize 31 indie game developers and their video games. Starting in November, we will write one article per a day that’s dedicated to one indie game developer as well as one game made by the company. However, we have placed some special rules and guidelines.
One Finished Game
In order for the video game to qualify, the entry must not be labeled as AAA and cannot have a publisher who provided financial support. In other words, the independent game developer had to have self-published the title. However, we do accept video games that have received financial support from KickStarter or other crowd-funded websites. Additionally, we’re open to all genres (Action, Horror, Romance, etc.) and platforms (Web-based, PC, Consoles, etc), but these innovative projects must be completely finished before November 1, 2014.
Email Submission
Starting now to November 30, anyone can participate and submit a spotlight candidate by sending an email to jjfarrington@gamerheadlines.com. The message must contain the following things:
- Name of the Indie Game Developer
- Name of the Video Game
- Image or Screenshots from the Video Game
- Platform(s)
- Message about why you appreciate this indie game developer and the particular game
The message section must have a minimum of three sentences. The reason why we want at least three sentences is that we want to use the written message on the article. If folks like to write more, that’s quite fine and nice too. We’ll show the whole message. After submitting it, we’ll respond to each submission to let you know if we got it!
Personally looking forward to hearing your thoughts! Please share this particular post with friends and families who might be an independent game developer! Remember to check other articles in the website as well in case we mentioned an indie game developer in the past!
Gamer Headlines encourage its avid readers to take advantage of the comment section to type any statements, recommendations, or questions. We value each individual’s opinions and suggest sharing his or her thoughts on the matter
