The BlizzCon World Championship North American Qualifiers for World of Warcraft and Hearthstone kicks off October 5th
Blizzard has announced that the BlizzCon World Championship North American Qualifiers for both World of Warcraft and Hearthstone will be taking place in the Hammerstein Ballroom in New York, from October 5th to October 6th.
This years BlizzCon will run from November 7th till November 8th
The Hearthstone qualifiers will take place during both days while the World of Warcraft qualifiers will take place on Sunday only.
During the event the top 16 North American Hearthstone players and the top 8 North American WoW players will battle it out for one of four available spots in the BlizzCon World Championship next month, for a chance to win its top prize of $250,000.
The event will be aired on Twitch on the Hearthstone and World of Warcraft channels, but if your around the New York area or want to attend the event, it’s completely free and you can book your tickets here at the RSVP page.
You may want to consider booking those tickets early too because Blizzard have announced that the first 1,500 to book tickets at RSVP and attend the event will receive 3 Hearthstone card packs, while the first 500 on the Sunday will receive 1 Warlords of Draenor Beta Key.
The BlizzCon World Championship North American Qualifiers are part of two sets of qualifiers for both World of Warcraft and Hearthstone. The European qualifiers took place at the Ericson Globe, Stockholm, Sweden between September 26th to the 27th and the winners there will face the qualifiers of the North American qualifying matches next month.
