Since the previous post, Rat King Entertainment (the developer) and Rising Star Games (the publisher) offered Gamescom visitors an opportunity to checkout the puzzle-solving game called TRI; this indie project challenges players to create and delete magical triangles (along with other incredible moves) across the numerous but complex levels throughout the fantasy realm. While these Gamescom attendees try to find the hidden fox relics behind walls, personal computer users were also able to play this innovative title by downloading a digital copy at numerous gaming websites like Desura. Unfortunately, the Fox God seen in the gameplay trailer will no longer be available at Desura.

Since a month has passed from attending the Indie Megabooth section at Gamescom 2014, Rat King Entertainment staff unexpectedly tweeted to followers that TRI was pulled from Desura due to unforeseeable circumstances in September 11, 2014.

Though it sounded like Desura was responsible for taking the indie project down, the developer was the one who in fact requested it. In their latest blog, they stated the following message.
“Due to some unforeseeable circumstances, we’ve had to ask them to pull the game from the store. It is now set to “Invite Only”.”
As such, no updates will continue from that platform. Although the news might disappoint some folks (particularly those who purchased the game from the website), the developer provided some reassurance. For starters, the developing team stated that nothing bad really happened. Secondly, those who bought it can receive a steam key clicking on the package in his or her collection. If the key doesn’t appear, the developers only request these individuals to send an email with a receipt attached. Basically, people who bought this game will eventually get another copy as long as they have legitimate proof of their online transactions.
Of course, they have also promised answer any questions regarding this issue through facebook, twitter, or the news-press as soon as possible. Additionally, prospective buyers can purchase the entire project on their website, Steam, IndieGameStand and itch.io; at these platforms, they will continue to update the game.
