From featured articles in Game Informer magazine to various information leaks, Shinji Mikami’s latest foray into the survival horror genre, The Evil Within (known as PsychoBreak in Japan), has been gaining a considerable amount of steam the past week.
Tango Gameworks and Bethesda Softworks, the developer and publisher (respectively) of The Evil Within, have decided to chuck a few more coals into the the game’s proverbial steam engine by releasing its TGS 2014 trailer.

The Evil Within TGS 2014 Trailer
While The Evil Within‘s trailer may be in Japanese, it is undoubtedly universally terrifying.
As stated before, The Evil Within is being developed by Tango Gameworks, and published by Bethesda Softworks. Shinji Mikami, the evil genius behind the Resident Evil game franchise, is the game’s director, and promises The Evil Within will be a proper return to form for the survival horror genre of video games.
The Evil Within is slated to release on October 14th in both North America and Europe, and October 16th in Australia. The game will be on PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and PC.
