Concept artist, Artfury (also known as pixelhustle), has recently posted concept art on imgur and Reddit for a new Android Steam mobile app designed to provide a “better Steam app experience,” and, honestly, it looks pretty amazing.

Take a look at the concept art in the image below:

The concept art for the app was originally posted on /r/ gaming on Reddit as “My concept for a better Steam app experience.”

You can find the original post here.

For the sake of comparison, here is how the current mobile app for iOS and Android looks:

The Android version of the app hasn’t been updated since March of 2012 and, reportedly, has a host of issues, so it is arguably due a major update.

Some modifications are indeed available for the Android Steam mobile app, such as Holo Steam, which aims to provide a better mobile experience.

You can see a video detailing it below:

What are your thoughts on pixelhustle/Artfury’s Steam mobile app concept? What suggestions do you have for it, if any? If you currently use Steam’s Android app, would you prefer the concept over the original? Why or why not?
