Nintendo has announced two new 3DS XL designs that will go on sale exclusively at GameStop US. The two new designs are based on the upcoming Persona Q, and another one designed after a NES.
Starting with the NES design, the handhelds packaging has been designed to look like the NES itself and, even includes the console’s distinctive grey and darker grey colour scheme. On the lid of the console itself, it has a printed design of a NES controller. This unique 3DS design will be going on sale on October 10th.
Meanwhile, the Persona Q design will be going on sale on November 25th, which is the same day that Persona Q is due to be released. The front of this 3DS is designed to look like the series Persona-holding Grimoire, whilethe back of the system will have the unique Etrian Odyssey inspired character designs on the back of it.
These two new 3DS XL designs will only be available to GameStop in the US, and there has been no news on if they’ll be coming to Europe. However, Europe is getting the Super Smash Bros. 3DS in a bundle with the game.
