Nintendo announces a new transparent 2DS as part of a Pokemon ORAS bundle

Today on Twitter Nintendo of Europe and Nintendo UK revealed that the upcoming Pokemon ORAS will be bundled with a new transparent 2DS.

These new transparent 2DS’s will be available in red and blue to match the upcoming games, and they may bring back fond memories to gamers who remember when Nintendo released a transparent Gameboy Colour and Gameboy Advance.

This bundle will be released when the game comes out on November 28th, however gamers who either can’t wait or don’t want to get the remakes don’t have to worry, because they will also be available by themselves from November 7th.

Nintendo have also revealed that the ORAS demo’s will be available in Europe from October 15th. In the UK the demo’s will be available in various retailers including GAME, the Nintendo UK Official Store and Amazon.

These demos will be available till launch and it will also be available to other partners including Wikia, Bin Weevils and Nintendo Life.

Nintendo hasn’t released the price for the new transparent 2DS or the hardware bundle yet. Also at the moment this deal is exclusive to Europe but the game isn’t due out till November so there is still some time left.

    I think Nintendo hates me, that’s right me personally. They announce the New 3DS, which is basically a full upgrade from the regular 3DS. THEN PROCEED TO ANNOUNCE SEVERAL AWESOME 3DS AND 2DS MODELS. All this after I had already resolved to wait for the new 3DS to come to America. T_T why are you doing this to me Nintendo?
