Yesterday, a leak showed off images of Killzone developer, Guerrilla Games’, new exclusive game for the PlayStation 4, reportedly called Horizon.
As a quick recap, here’s some basic information – Guerrilla Games’ new IP is surmised to an open-world, role-playing game complete with robot dinosaurs, among other various creatures. Social elements may also be incorporated into the game. Horizon is expected to star a red-headed female as the game’s main protagonist.
Furthermore, industry insider and NeoGAF user, shinobi602, has revealed surprising, new details in regards to Guerrilla Games’ PS4 exclusive, Horizon.

New Horizon Details Emerge From Industry Insider
On a thread related to the game on NeoGAF.com, shinobi602 posted the following messages:
“There’s a dedicated single player. Gorgeous landscapes, snowy tundras, jungles, vast savannahs, open world comparable to the Witcher. Cool weapons, villages and towns to encounter, “tribal” societies…”
“…have to understand that it’s an ambitious game. It’s not easy to create a new IP in a completely new genre for the team. It’s better to have a quality game in the end when they’re ready. I think people will like what they get.”
Responding to this particular question –
“Swords? Will there be swords? I need to know,” shinobi602 replied with a succint:
“Oh yes.”
In regards to a user’s inquiry regarding Horizon‘s possible official reveal, shinobi602 stated:
“The plan is an E3 reveal. I’m not sure if this leak will force their hand sooner or not though.”
Finally, when someone asked for a potential Fall 2015 release date, the following was said:
“Unfortunately no.”
Based on what shinbo602 says, if Guerrilla Games delivers on the prospect of an “open world comparable to The Witcher,” tribal societies, and robotic dinosaurs, the gaming community may have a lot to look forward to from Horizon.
No other information regarding Killzone developer, Guerrilla Games’, Horizon has surfaced. Keep in mind that this is a leak, and is not in any way an official information release from Guerrilla Games. If, or when, additional information is procured, this article will be updated accordingly.
