The latest trailer for Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- gives us our first gameplay sneak peek at the newest characters: Elphelt and Sin. These two characters will be unique to the console version when it releases later this year and they are very integral to the story. It seems as if both these characters will be on the side of the good guys, and their collective goal is to find the game’s villain: Ramlethal Valentine. Turning on subtitles in the video will let you know what the characters are saying and give you a greater insight into the story of Guilty Gear Xrd.
Guilty Gear Xrd -SIGN- is the newest entry in the Guilty Gear fighting game series and the first to feature a ‘2.5D’ format. With the power of next gen hardware, the developer Arc System Works has been able to create a stellar presentation, dynamic backgrounds and lighting fast 60fps gameplay. The previous game, Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus R was an updated version of Guilty Gear Accent Core Plus, available on PS3 and Xbox 360. That game had a considerably larger cast than GGXrd, but as time goes on the cast of this new game will likely be filled up. We’ll get to experience a new era of Guilty Gear action when it launches for PS3 and PS4 on December 4 2014.
