Bethesda, publisher for The Evil Within, has recently announced a change in the release date for the upcoming title in Europe.
Earlier today, The Evil Within’s publisher Bethesda announced that the upcoming survival horror title will be seeing a release in Europe on Tuesday, October 14th — which is the same release date for North America.
Originally European gamers were going to have to wait until October 18th — a full four days later — for the release of the latest horror title from Shinji Mikami, but now the wait will be a few days shorter.
The Evil Within is the latest video game title to be directed by Shinji Mikami, who had previously directed many other video game titles including Resident Evil 4 and Vanquish, and will have players explore a gruesome, monster-filled world where knowing when to run or fight is the key to survival.
The Evil Within will be releasing in North America and Europe on Tuesday, October 14th for PlayStation 3, PlayStation 4, Xbox 360, Xbox One, and Steam. The console releases will be available for both retail and digital download.
