Sony has announced that the game Driveclub will be receiving two different bundles. One of which will include a glacier white PS4.
The glacier white PS4 will include a copy of Driveclub, a glacier white PS4 console, and a Dualshock controller. This’ll cost about €439.99 ($565 roughly). The PS4 Gamer Edition will include a copy of Driveclub, a black PS4 console, two dualshock PS4 controllers, and a Playstation Camera. This’ll cost around €499.99 ($640 roughly).
This comes after company executives decided that the glacier white PS4 is going to be sold as a standalone console for Europe only. This is upsetting for those who want to get a glacier white PS4 in the North American region, because they’ll have to import from another country to do so. I’m sure that it’ll come out as a stand alone console eventually, but for now, it’s the Destiny bundle or bust.
Driveclub is also going to be releasing it’s Playstation Plus version of the game alongside its full release. This’ll give the chance for those unfamiliar with Driveclub to try the game for free before potentially purchasing it. It’s more than a demo, but it’s less the a game, allowing players to drive in one country with 10 different cars, but still experience most of the modes that the game has to offer. This is good for the advancement of Playstation Plus as well as Playstation Now by giving the players a chance to play the game a little bit more than a demo could potentially wet their gaming palettes.
Driveclub will be released on October 7th exclusively on the PS4. We’ll see how a driving game ends up on the PS4 console.
What do you think of the white PS4 bundle for Driveclub? Would you pick it up? Would you not? I’d love to know your thoughts in the comments down below!
